You agree to use this website lawfully and in accordance with these Terms & Conditions.

You must not misuse this website, transmit harmful content, attempt unauthorised access, or interfere with its operation.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access where misuse is suspected.

All content on this website, including product descriptions, images, branding, designs, graphics and written material, is the property of Smith & Kennedy Scents and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

Content may not be reproduced, distributed or used without written permission.

4. Products & Descriptions

We take care to ensure product descriptions and images are accurate. However:

• As many items are handmade, slight variations in colour or batch may occur.
• Colours may appear differently depending on device screens.

These variations do not constitute defects.

5. Orders & Payment

Payment is required in full at the time of purchase.

We accept major debit and credit cards via secure payment providers. Card details are processed securely and are not visible to us.

Once an order is placed, you will receive confirmation by email. This confirmation does not constitute acceptance of your order. We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order where necessary.

6. Pricing

All prices are shown in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable.

We reserve the right to update pricing without notice. Pricing errors will be corrected, and we reserve the right to cancel orders affected by obvious pricing mistakes.

7. Delivery

We dispatch orders within the UK using Royal Mail or other designated carriers.

Estimated delivery times are provided for guidance only and are not guaranteed.

Once an order has been dispatched, responsibility for delivery times lies with the carrier. However, we will assist in investigating delayed or lost parcels.

8. Your Right to Cancel

In accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods.

To cancel, you must notify us in writing (email is acceptable) within the 14-day period.

Returned goods must be unused and in original condition. Return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty.

Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or proof of return.

9. Faulty or Damaged Goods

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you are entitled to goods that are as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose.

If an item is faulty or damaged:

• You must notify us within 48 hours if the issue relates to transit damage.
• We may request photographic evidence.
• We will offer a repair, replacement or refund as appropriate.

10. Electrical Items

Electrical items are covered by us for 28 days from delivery.

Damage must be reported within 48 hours.
Faults reported within 28 days may qualify for replacement or refund following inspection.

After 28 days, the manufacturer’s warranty applies. Customers are responsible for any costs associated with returns to the manufacturer.

11. Returns & Refunds

Returns must be requested within 14 days of delivery.

Items must be unused and returned in original packaging.

We do not offer exchanges.

Original delivery charges are non-refundable unless goods are faulty.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method once the returned goods have been inspected and approved.

Non-returnable items include:

• Used items
• Custom or personalised products
• Sale items
• Gift cards

12. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or breach of statutory rights.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability shall be limited to the purchase price of the goods supplied.

13. Privacy & Data Protection

We process personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and our Privacy Policy.

Personal information is collected solely for processing orders and providing customer service.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom.
